Future is peeling back the lid on his chart-topping album DS2 in a new commentary series. In the opening segment, which premieres today on The FADER, he spells out the album's title—"You might not drink lean, but when you listen to this music, you gonna feel high," he says—and describes the making of "Thought It Was A Drought," "I Serve The Base," and "Where Ya At" featuring Drake, the project's lone guest.

"It was super creative the way we did this process of recording," he says. "I had a very unorthodox way that I recorded this whole entire album. Even with me singing a range in my vocals, because I just wanted to record, just get out the way I'm feeling and be creative, and then go back later and rearrange the song or add something towards the beat or towards my vocals or take something off."

Watch above, and check back every day this week for more behind-the-scenes commentary from Future.
