The last few weeks of August is a make-or-break time for couples all over the world. Portugal-born producer RAC, a.k.a. Andre Allen Anjos, seems to be keenly aware of that with his moody new track, "Can't Forget You," which premiers on The FADER today. Set on September 1st, the song features vocalist Chelsea Lankes realizing that her summer fling might just be great boyfriend material after all.
"There's a certain melancholy that came through this song that really surprised me," RAC told The FADER in an email. "Chelsea captured the feeling so well and I wanted to counter it. When you blur those lines of happy/sad it creates something really special. This might make total sense or no sense at all, but I wanted it to feel like a Sofia Coppolla film.”
