Today, Billboard reports that police in Lakeland, Florida have formally charged rapper Kevin Gates with simple battery after the rapper allegedly kicked an 18-year-old female fan during a performance last week. Earlier today, video of the incident surfaced online. Representatives for Kevin Gates did not immediately return a request for comment.
