Having already made an impression in her native France, this fall Héloïse Letissier—who performs as
"No Harm Is Done" is picture of "the moment before"— "before something happens, before we choose in which fight we want to engage," as she described it in an email to The FADER—rendered through pungent, slinking, and synthy pop. "Anger came to me as something I could try to write about," she wrote, adding that "articulating it is probably the first step towards action."
Letissier called on Ige to join her after hearing "For Us" while she was on tour. "Even though we have different lives, we both write about feeling lonely, about watching everything from this weird angle—when you feel oddly out of the picture," she said.
And as for his part, Ige told The FADER he was "all in." "I'm also thankful I was able to work alongside one of my good friends and favorite producers, Noah Breakfast," he added.
