Bandcamp Opens Up New Patronage Feature To All Users

Artists on Bandcamp can now offer fans customized subscriptions.

Bandcamp remains the platform of choice for a number of burgeoning record labels and musicians. Today, the company rolled out a new feature that will allow those musicians to give fans the opportunity to subscribe to all fo their releases. Artists can now charge fans an annual or monthly fee of their choice that'll give fans access to all of their future releases. The feature allows artists to customize every part of the fan experience, opening the door for niche artists with committed fans to efficiently monetize their work. The service also allows podcasters to easily create a subscription-based series.
