Nike Finally Made A Collection For Women Who Actually Ball

Along with an ad campaign featuring Chiney Ogwumike and Elena Delle Donne.

In a move that will have any woman who plays basketball muttering "FINALLY," Nike has released a line of breathable separates, shoes, and accessories meant exclusively for the court. The clothes are mercifully free of the traditional trappings of female sportswear: no leggings, no hot pink (with the exception of one super tight basketball), no pandering, and no sexism. Accompanied by a campaign featured Chiney Ogwumike and Elena Delle Donne, the collection is about clothes that fit a woman's body without distractions.

As a basketball-playing friend of mine wrote on Facebook: "Ecstatic that the new addition to women's basketball section is no longer just warm up jackets, yoga pants, and running shorts in ridiculous colorways." Amen.
