Neana And Kali Mutsa Team On A Club-Ready Tribute To Medieval Witches

Praise be!

Chilean singer Kali Mutsa wrote her hyperactive 2014 single "Traga Traga" with empowerment on her mind. "'Traga Traga' was inspired by a demonized female divinity from times long gone," Mutsa told The FADER over email. "It's a tribute to medieval witches who were just in fact thinking, independent women. This track is for the ladies through time who have been made monstrous for simply being independent and strong women—a threat to a male-dominated society."

This year, she's re-releasing the remix with six remixes from club producers all over the world, to spread the message far and wide; and premiering above is the drum-heavy, laser-shooting rework from Night Slugs affiliate Neana. In the Londoner's own words: "I wanted to take the sample to the club." Mission accomplished. Stream the remix above, and get all six versions of "Traga Traga" on November 1 via ENDMK.
