Drake is a passionate fan: according to Mirror, the rapper single-handedly attempted to fund additional episodes of the English drama Top Boy—which Channel 4 decided not to renew after the second season. “Drake thought [Top Boy] was proper,” said Ashley Walters, who plays Dushane on the show. “I was speaking to Future mainly, Drake’s manager. We were going back and forth. And we were like, ‘Put a deal on the table.’”

“The production company still owned the rights,” the actor continued. “Drake made an offer and they turned it down. I don’t know what is going on with it—but I heard they are talking about a Top Boy Chicago.”
