Director/screenwriter David Lynch is embarking on his next big creative project – a memoir/biography titled Life and Work, detailing Lynch's collaborations, his artistic development, and some of his creative struggles throughout the years. According to the Guardian, the book will be based around a series of interviews with 90 of Lynch's friends, family members, and past collaborators, and will be co-written with journalist Kristine McKenna.
“There’s a lot of bullshit out there about me, in books and all over the Internet,” Lynch said in a statement from publisher Canongate. “I want to get all the right information in one place, so if someone wants to know something, they can find it here. And I wouldn’t do it with anyone other than Kristine; she and I go way back, and she gets it right.” Life and Work is set for a 2017 release date.
