Today, Drake delivered the long-promised video for the tropical-infused "Hotline Bling." The song, which dropped on OVO Sound Radio this summer, has spent the last few weeks flirting with the #1 spot on the Billboard singles charts. Drake, who surprisingly has never had a song reach the top spot on the hot 100 chart, reflected on the song's success last week on Instagram.
"If I get my first number one during the month of October," he wrote. "It will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool." Here's to hoping that this video will give Drake the spike he needs to claim the top spot.
