Baby Raptors Taps Party Supplies For “I Am My Only Love”

This song just might be the hug you need.

Baby Raptors—the cute stage name of electro-pop singer Tora—would not appear on first glance to have much in common with Action Bronson, but she is a fan of the voracious Queens rapper—his production, in particular. After hearing Blue Chips, she called Brooklyn producer Party Supplies to the studio.

"I Am My Only Love," which premieres today on The FADER, is the first of two songs that Baby Raptors and Party Supplies worked on together. It is, as the title suggests, a pean of self adoration and care—Nobody holds me up, nobody holds me down/ When everything falls apart, I've got my only heart, she sings—that vibrates with warm synth and a heartbeat-like drums. It's a pick-me-upper for sure, or maybe something like the song version of a hug. See for yourself below.
