While everyone was getting excited about the joint Nicki/Beyonce appearance and Kendrick Lamar's collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Backstreet Boys executed a stealth power-move, making an appearance to close out the Balmain x H&M show last night in New York City. With various luminaries in attendance—including Kendall Jenner, the Hadid sisters, and Karlie Kloss—the group worked through hits like "Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)" and "I Want It That Way." (Both were co-written and co-produced by Max Martin, the Swede who is still helping the Weeknd and Taylor Swift climb the charts.)
