The Back To The Future fever reached impressive heights today as Michael J. Fox "received his pair of power-lacing Nike MAGs." The famous shoe company's Tinker Hatfield also penned a letter to Fox, which the actor posted on Twitter. "Almost thirty years ago we embarked on a journey to create a glimpse into 'the future,'" Hatfield wrote. "Although the project started as science fiction, we're now proud to turn that fiction into fact."
He continued, "What is so special about the Nike Air Mag is its impact continues to resonate. We may never know its final legacy, but we continue to work on projects that carry and progress some of its principles... In addition to your personal pair, we're creating more pairs for support in aid of the Michael J. Fox foundation in 2016."
Even Future got carried away by the excitement of Back To The Future day: the rapper posted a hilarious graphic to Instagram showing him on a hoverboard sporting a large pair of Nikes and an even larger cup of lean. Check that out below, along with Hatfield's letter.
