October 25, 2015

Yesterday The Hollywood Reporter released footage from Pharrell's April 2014 deposition during the "Blurred LInes" copyright infringement lawsuit brought against him and Robin Thicke by the estate of Marvin Gaye. The pair ultimately lost the lawsuit, with the judge ultimately ruling that they pay out $5.3 million to Gaye's family in addition to half of all "Blurred Lines" publishing royalties. In the new footage Pharrell is visibly irritated, refusing to answer the opposing lawyer's questions about "blues chord progressions" and "pentatonic harmonics."
