Keith Ape, Denzel Curry, And Ronny J Explode On “Vigorous”

The South Korean rap sensation returns.

October 30, 2015

"Vigorous," the new track from Keith Ape, Denzel Curry, and Ronny J, stays true to its title: the song is a raw detonation of angst in the same vein as Keith's attention-grabbing "It G Ma." Hoarse shouts carom through the back of the tune, and the bass is thunderously loud.

"The inspiration for that song was just hearing the song itself," Curry explains via email. "I'm a very hyperactive person with two different energies on the track," he adds. "I knew something spectacular could come about, so that's when I started recording it."

Keith Ape has more music in the works: he's in the studio with 808 Mafia's Southside—the man behind several of Future's best songs this year, including "Trap Niggas," "56 Nights," and "Stick Talk"—putting together a collaborative mixtape. Listen to "Vigorous" below.
