The Flavr Blue—the Seattle-based electro-pop trio comprised of Lace Cadence, Parker Joe, and Hollis Wong Wear, whose vocals you might recognize from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "White Walls"—are preparing to deliver their The Love Notes EP, and today have shared a new song that they say epitomizes the project: "Majesty," a slowly cresting wave of sultriness and lush synth.
"We explore everything from losing someone to finding a new love on Love Notes," the group explained in an email to The FADER. "'Majesty' was the last song we wrote and finished for the project, summing it all up in one line—you can have a dime or you could have a diamond."
"Majesty," they added, "is absolutely one of our favorite songs we've ever made, our slow jam-slash-anthem dedicated to the real ones."
Listen to "Majesty" below; Love Notes is coming soon.
