On a tip from his Old Man—aka T.I.—young Domani has cooked up a super sticky new track called "Finer Things." It's got that sort of sludgy, key-laced, and 808s heavy sound that is so dominant in Atlanta right now. (If you have any doubts regarding its geographical origin, count the number of dabs executed in the video above.) And the premise of the song is simple: Domani appreciates nice stuff, so much so that he likens himself to a walking Louis Vuitton mannequin. And being that this is his first big song, he just wants it to be fun.
"I made this song for everyone to just really jam out and have a good time to," Domani told The FADER over email. "My Old Man taught me that I had to catch people's attention with a catchy song so that when I'm ready to say what I need to say, I can have all ears."
He also added, "Soon I will be dropping my next single, called 'It's In Me' that will lead into my EP." Like he raps in "Finer Things," I got a momma and a pops that i can't disappoint.
