Next spring, Kyson will reemerge with a new full-length body of work. Before the cold weather closes in and he hunkers down for the winter, the Berlin producer has proffered a first taste of what's to come with "A Song About The Future."

Written and recorded in a small beach town in Australia, "A Song About The Future" is a gently undulating and washed out soundscape that, for Kyson, marks the instance in which the vision for his forthcoming album first came into focus. "When I'm working on a new record theres usually a moment where something clicks and the creative process begins to blossom," he explained in an email to The FADER. "‘A Song About The Future’ was the piece that did it this time round for me. It was written at a very important time of my life, a time of realization and transition."

And it would seem that the period that followed "A Song About The Future" was fruitful: "I have a lot of new music which is coming out in 2016 which I'm very excited to share," Kyson added. "Then there’s the pleasure of creating these new songs into a live format to tour which is something that always excites me about a new record." Till then, hit play below.
