Forget The Haters With Felix Snow And Dominique Young Unique’s “Touch That”

“Don’t let them stop you from doing you.”

"Touch That" is one long surge of energy, a mix of skeletal, hard-hitting rap and a series of build-ups aimed at creating a dancefloor frenzy. The track came together with input from both Felix Snow and Dominique Young Unique. "I love working with [Felix]," Dominique told The FADER in an email. "When you get in his studio with him, he is very focused. He knows what he's looking for on the beat, and he's not like a lot of producers that try to tell you what to do on the song—he just lets you do your thing."

The club vibe of the tune is no accident. "When I made this song I was in a great mood and about to go out with my girlfriends," the singer explained. "The meaning behind this track is to have lots of fun where ever you at, like fuck the haters and don't let them stop you from doing you. Go to the club, pop lots of bottles, and enjoy yourself."
