Sydney’s own Tigertown is gearing up to release their debut EP Lonely Cities next month. It may be their first international release, but their new single “Bullet From The Gun” makes it clear that they are already aware of their full potential and that not even the sky is the limit.

"Bullet From the Gun is about that one thing that drives you to do what you do. Sometimes you have to stand up to something to hold on to that original fire," Tigertown explained to The FADER. Or as the song goes, You can’t take the fire from the Sun, you can’t take the bullet from the gun.

The fam-band entails husband-wife duo, Chris as lead guitarist and Charlie Collins as lead vocalist and synth, completed with brother, Alexi on keys and sis, Elodie, on bass. With their following already growing and Triple J in support, the Australian band are proving they are here to stay.

Tigertown already made their international mark by being one of the breakout acts of SXSW 2015. The band finds themselves already in the new year touring with St. Lucia and being signed to acclaimed tastemaker label, Neon Gold, under Atlantic Records, with label mates such as Charli XCX, Christine and The Queens, and Marina and The Diamonds.
