If Mark Johns hears her hotline bling one more time...

Mark Johns, the OWSLA-signed singer (a first for the Skrillex-helmed label), is a self-described "take-no-shit" girl tangled up with a needy dude on "BTFU (Mommy Issues)," a hip-hop tinged electro-soul teaser for her forthcoming debut EP. If you ever want that line to bling again, you're going to have to learn a thing or two again, she sings, leaving said dude two options: back the fuck up or she'll back out. Not trying to fix your mommy issues, no, no, no.

"I've been in relationships like the one in this song," Abergel explained in an email to The FADER. "Sometimes I'm the take-no-shit girl and sometimes I'm the guy who's being a pansy. Insecurity is a bitch and we're all acquainted, ladies and gentlemen alike. Every once in a while I think we need a reality check, regardless of which role we're playing."

Mark Johns debut EP is coming to OWSLA soon; till then, listen to "BTFU (Mommy Issues)," which was produced by Brenton Duvall, below.
