Spectral Chicago rapper The Holy Kit's move to Los Angeles hasn't brightened his music much, but it did fuel an attitude readjustment that inspired his latest release, "No One." Produced by Mexiko Dro, it wobbles and warps around Kit's insistent yet melodic refrain, I don't need no one.

"I made this song to let people know I don't need anyone to keep me moving," Kit explained in an email to The FADER. "I learned in this music game you can't trust everyone you meet you just gotta do you keep it pure and original, I wanted to bring the melody Kit back with this new track it was heavily inspired by my new L.A. life, ever since I moved here a year ago I've been on my own cause I don't need no one."
