NAR Breathes New Life Into AHBS’ “Toca Me” For Remix Compilation

The L.A. producer adds a sprinkling of sexy and a dab of reggaeton.

At the end of this month, fierce New York duo AHBS will revive their excellent 2015 debut Mate y Agave with a compilation of reworks called Mate y Agave, The Remixes, featuring reworks by DJs and producers from around the world.

First up is L.A.-based producer and thoughtful proponent of tom boy style NAR, who has given "Toca Me," which features K. Rizz and Jay Boogie, an alluring and rhythmic new spin. Or, as NAR described the handiwork that went into the remix in an email to The FADER: "When I heard the original, I wanted to create a dark and sexy reggaeton vibe, a beat that makes you want to move uninhibitedly, but also confronts you with your feels."
