Dave B—an idiosyncratic singer and versatile rapper, making him something like the Chance the Rapper of Seattle—spotlights a pair of long-distant lover's in the sweet new video for "Rain," a blippy and tender track off his recently released debut album Punch Drunk. Dave and his girl get on the phone (must be set pre-FaceTime) and together they perform a dance, summoning their collective-life force: Please let the love rain down on me, Dave sings. "I think this song is really important to the score of life," Dave explained in an email to The FADER. "Love is the only thing that's gonna save us from ourselves."
