Despite all the activity around the new Rihanna release, the album debuted outside the top 25 on the Billboard 200. This is partially due to timing—it was only out for day-ish before the end of the period captured on the latest chart—and partially because those free downloads don't count in Billboard metrics. According to Billboard, the album has been downloaded 1.47 million times already. In addition, there are no physical copies of the album yet: those arrive this Friday. Next week, ANTI is likely to make major strides on the chart.

But the singles chart is really where Rihanna shines: Unapologetic is the only one of her albums to hit No. 1, but 13 of her singles have topped the Hot 100. "Work," her new collaboration with Drake, debuted at No. 9. If it eventually goes to No. 1, that would mean Rihanna has more No. 1 hits than Michael Jackson.
