The Sonic Acts Festival was founded in 1994. Each year, the event brings together a multidisciplinary group of artists to explore a single theme. This year in Amsterdam, the Festival had expanded to include the Sonic Acts Academy, "a new platform that aims to grow, expand, sustain and disseminate stimulating discourse about artistic research." Talk titles include "The Queer Futurity of Plastic" and "Disappearing Evidence: The Mysterious Case of Uranium-235 and other Tales." At night, more than 20 DJs and artists from four different continents will take over at Paradiso for a long series of "immersive audiovisual performances."

The festival takes place from February 26 - 28. Get more information here.
