Chuck Inglish Shares “Freaknik ‘96” Video

Cartoons meet So So Def.

February 12, 2016

"Freaknik '96" is a lascivious ode to the year that Atlanta hosted the Olympics. Chuck Inglish told Billboard, "I was the most musically receptive at that time. That's around the time Ghost Town DJ's 'My Boo,' the So So Def All-Stars album … I just don't think nothing makes girls dance more than that tempo. You can do trap or EDM or big bass shit, but I'm about making girls dance. I had that mission in becoming a producer. That's not a bad task—to be the person that wants to make girls dance and dance for fun."

The clip for the track, directed by Trevor Kane and Derek King, places Inglish in a cartoon landscape full of butts. Watch above.
