Honduras Take It Day By Day On “That Old Feeling”

Life can be overwhelming.

February 19, 2016

Honduras take us through the frustrations of trying to get ahead in their latest track, "That Old Feeling." The guitarist peels through electric strums, meanwhile the drums amplify the sentiments of trying to overcome the failures of not completing new goals and sticking to changes. When there are no words, the punk instrumental rides and then softens into a groove backed by melodic vocals before it picks up again.

Honduras explained the inspiration of the song to The FADER over email, "Years go by, you fail to make the changes you desire. Still relying on things that only bring trouble. Anxiety from avoided responsibilities. Your body aches from being overworked and the debt feels insurmountable. 'That Old Feeling' of waking up with a racing heart, shaking off the nerves, and starting another day."
