Atlanta's hardest hustling rapper Rich The Kid connected with the ATL's most essential collaborator Lil Yachty for "Fresh Off A Boat."
"Lil Yachty is my lil bro. I respect his grind and everything he's doing, so I wanted to work," Rich The Kid said of the inevitable collaboration in a note to The FADER. "He and I hit the studio with Soulja Boy and went to work—shuffling through beats and this was one we both knew we could go crazy on."
The beat they picked is by 808Mafia was Chris Fresh beat, and it tip-toes and swerves, carrying Yachty's mumbled proclamations—I might just run for president/ I ain't doing show if there ain't dividends—and Rich The Kid's more shrill braggadocio. Check it out below.
