Lil Yachty And K$upreme Reunite For “Die By Myself 2”

This time around, it’s all about the heavy flexing.

Everything's coming up Lil Yachty these days. Today, the buzzy Atlanta rapper and his homie K$upreme have shared a new track called "Die By Myself 2." (Complete with artwork celebrating today, which just so happens to be National Cereal Day!)

Coordinated by "U Guessed It" producer Brandon Thomas, it's a bleary sequel to their notably macabre 2015 release "Die By Myself". Definitely less dire than the original, it's a smudge of heavy flexing and trash talking, like, You look like type of the nigga that's about to say it's the motion of the ocean not the size of the boat.

"We're all so creative and young, it's just exciting seeing how this 2016's gonna pan out with all these new artist and new sounds," Thomas said of the zeitgeist match-up. "It's time to have more unity and help each other on to the platform of having the publics eye, and being able to give back to them by inspiring them with intricate pieces of ourselves through art."

Late last month, Thomas released a mixtape called ECLECTIC, with features everybody from Jaden Smith and D.R.A.M., to Tei-Shi and OG Maco. Cop that here and listen to "Die By Myself 2" below.
