West London five-piece Babeheaven are a tight-knit crew. They came together when lead singer Nancy and guitarist Jamie struck up a friendship while working in shops on the same street; now, they make warm, fuzzy-hearted alt-pop about the kind of intimate subjects whispered between best friends. Debut single "Heaven" is about Nancy's late mother, and the video stars her little sister, as well showing both the singer and Jamie in their actual bedrooms. You don't get much more personal than that.
"We have grown up in an area knowing everybody," Nancy explained to The FADER via email. "All our siblings are friends, and our parents are friends too, so the majority of the people I know, I have known from birth. This video shows us in our natural habitat; we want to show a bit of ourselves to everyone."
