Drake’s Signature “6” Drop Appears To Be Taken From The Notorious B.I.G.’s “10 Crack Commandments”

“The 6” is a nickname for Toronto popularized by Drake, who poached it from another rapper called Jimmy Prime. Many of Drake's songs are branded with a sample of a voice saying “6,” and today Twitter user @KonnerNextDoor appears to have identified the source: Notorious B.I.G.'s “10 Crack Commandments.” (The controversial sample for that song comes from Public Enemy's "Shut 'Em Down.")
