Joseph L'Étranger's music has appeared on Isaiah Rashad's Cilvia Demo and also been used to teach others how make smooth, funky beats. Last week he shared ideas, a new eleven track collection that shows the Vancouver producer's talent for building and maintaining the kind of wavy vibes that fit in with the Soulection crew.
Asked about the project on email, L'Etranger revealed that ideas is a collection of loose tracks not connected to any project. “I basically had all these unfinished beats just sitting there on my computer doing nothing, so I decided to upload a bunch of them so they wouldn't go to waste,” he says. “It's kind of a collection of things I started and forgot about.” He's working on a new EP called Ice Rink due to drop next month. Till then, get ideas in your head.
