HitsDailyDouble reports that Beyoncé's LEMONADE was downloaded nearly 200,000 times since it appeared on iTunes Sunday evening, according to a source at Sony. Based on the initial enthusiasm around the release, HitsDailyDouble suggests that it could exceed half a million copies sold in its first week. In 2013, her self-titled visual album sold over 600k in its first week out.
Currently Beyoncé's "Formation" is No. 1 at the iTunes store. "Sorry," "Hold Up," "6 Inch," and "Freedom" are also in the top ten. In addition, the star has the top three songs on Billboard's Trending 140 chart, which takes stock of tracks buzzing on Twitter.
