Going against his infamous mandate, it appears that Drake has welcomed a new friend into his life.
Included within the Views digital booklet is a picture of Drake, standing in front of Toronto's stately Langdon Hall and next to a frosted Rolls Royce. Posing with him in matching fur is what appears to be his new buddy, a black and white dog named Diamond, a well placed source has confirmed for The FADER. (A representative for Drake was not immediately available for comment.)
Diamond made his or her first appearance earlier this year, when WordOnRoad posted a picture of him/her as just a puppy. The dog was quickly recognized to be an akita, a dignified looking dog that originates in the mountainous northern regions of Japan.
Drake has kept Diamond mostly out of the spotlight so far, but between this photo and Diamond's brief appearance in the Views preview video—in which Diamond is listed third, after only the Six and the Raptors—it seems likely that we will be seeing more of the pup. 40 and Oliver better watch out, looks like mans got a new best friend.
