There has been one fatality and three people injured after a shooting inside of New York City's Irving Plaza, according to the NYPD. One of the victims, male, 33, who was shot in the chest has died. T.I. was hosting an event at the venue tonight and was joined by Anderson .Paak, Maino, Uncle Murda, and others. CBSNY reports that shots were fired in a third floor green room around 10:15 p.m. The New York Times reports T.I. was not onstage at this point but Maino and Uncle Murda were. Chief William Aubrey of NYPD has said that it's unclear who was in the green room at the time the shots were fired. One male victim was shot in the chest, and a female victim was shot in the leg, according to law enforcement officials.

On Thursday morning, the NYPD confirmed that Troy Ave was shot in the leg at last night's shooting. Karen Civil and XXL, has first reported the news, adding that Troy Ave is currently in the hospital.

Representatives for T.I. did not have comment at this time and referred all inquiries to the NYPD. A rep for Irving Plaza was not immediately available for comment.

Wednesday night's events could have long-lasting implications as the NYPD has been accused in recent months of cracking down on hip-hop shows and parties taking place in Manhattan.
