During Wednesday night's Toronto stop of the Formation world tour, Beyoncé's team purchased over $3500 worth of food from Caplansky's, a local deli franchise. An employee confirmed the order to The FADER, saying "99%" of the order was the restaurant specialty, their smoked meat sandwiches. That's more than 180 individual glistening beef brisket dunes, pulsing with spices and spackled with mustard, snug as bugs in fresh baked pillows of bread.

Beyoncé has talked about embracing a plant-based diet, and even owns a $18-per-plate vegan meal delivery service. But like any benevolent queen, she isn't forcing her court to suffer unnecessarily.

A rep for Beyoncé was not immediately available for comment.
