After an eventful weekend at Governor's Ball 2016 in New York City, the festival has been cancelled for its third and final day due to severe weather warnings. Earlier today, Gov Ball officials reported that the doors would be delayed due to weather concerns. At 12:15 p.m. this afternoon, they announced that the Sunday show would be cancelled "due to severe weather and a high likelihood of lightning in the area."
Luckily, according to the Governor's Ball website, people who purchased tickets for today's event will be able to receive a refund. Read more information about the cancellation on Governor's Ball update page.
