The Governor Of Minnesota Declares June 7 “Prince Day”

In honor of what would have been Prince's 58th birthday, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has declared June 7 "Prince Day," Billboard reports. According to the declaration from the Governor's Office, the day will celebrate "Prince's artistry, music, and brand showcase his outstanding contributions to music and the arts and entertainment industry.
