At Field Day 2016, typically the London festival that signals the beginning of a muggy summer in the city, Victoria Park was instead washed out with torrential rain. Not that that dampened anyone's spirits: crews still rolled through in their brightly colored raincoats (and even brighter colored hair), hefty walking boots, and loosely slung layers that were ready for rain or shine. British festivals are famous for their sporadically crappy weather, even at the height of summer — but they're also famous for British festivalgoers' hardy approach to getting down in the mud anyway.
