Kevin Durant Calls Drake His Favorite Rapper In New Interview

The former Oklahoma City Thunder player talked about being shouted out in lyrics.

In a new interview with Genius, Kevin Durant (who recently left Oklahoma City Thunder to play basketball with the Golden State Warriors) was faced with examples of rappers like Drake, Jay Z, and J. Cole who have mentioned him in their songs. No, Lil B's "Fuck Kevin Durant," was not brought up.

Durant called Drake his "favorite rapper" and said he enjoyed the Meek Mill beef. "It was entertainment for me, because I'm such a huge rap fan. They both came with it." Of his name-drop in Jay Z's "Crown," he said "That's somebody I've been listening to since I was ten years old... was a moment for me." He also compliments J. Cole's work in rap and on the court. "He can play a bit."
