Grace Jones has been confirmed as the artist who will replace M.I.A. at the top of the bill for London's first Afropunk festival. The news that M.I.A. would no longer headline the festival, which takes place at Alexandra Palace on September 24, was announced last week. Joining Grace Jones on the bill are Laura Mvula, Kwabs, The Noisettes, Loyle Carner, Goldlink, Joe Kay, The Whooligan, Hannah Faith, Eden Hagos, MNEK, Lady Leshurr, Skinny Girl Diet, Jorja Smith, Big Joanie, Nova Twins, The Connectors, and Mikel Ameen among others. Tickets for the all-day event can be purchased here. Read more on why it was important to discuss M.I.A.'s position at Afropunk London here.
