Flying Lotus Shares Creepy Teaser For Short Film Debut Royal

In July, Flying Lotus announced that his record label Brainfeeder would begin to produce animated shorts and movies, starting with the short film Royal, directed by FlyLo himself. The film will premiere at Sundance NEXT Fest on August 14, and you can watch a teaser above. Body horror is the vibe: itching, vomiting, licking, and screaming (Lotus has described Royal as "an awkward love story that's definitely not for the kiddies.") A title card in the teaser reads "directed by steve," indicating that FlyLo has chosen a director's alias for the film. Watch the whole creepy teaser above.
