Rihanna Reportedly Cast In Ocean’s 8 With Anne Hathaway And Mindy Kaling

Deadline reported on Wednesday that Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, and Mindy Kaling will join Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett in Ocean's 8, which is a spinoff of Ocean's 11.

Rihanna's entry into the film world has been a slow and steady process, starting with 2012's Battleship. According to Deadline, Rihanna just finished filming Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which is directed by Luc Besson and is slated for 2017.

A rep for Rihanna did not immediately return a return for comment.
