Young Thug's Jeffery project was originally supposed to come out on August 16 - the same day as the Atlanta star's birthday. But, due to issues over the album cover and an added Travis Scott verse, the album was pushed back. Amidst the chaos of the rollout, 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen announced that Young Thug had officially changed his name to No, My Name Is Jeffery.

In a new promotional commercial, posted this evening on his Instagram, Young Thug tackles the notion of his two personas. As police question him repeatedly about his real name, the rapper insists, "No, My Name Is Jeffery." At the end of the video, the August 26 release date for the project flashes on the screen.
