Vince Staples will appear on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show today and the channel has let loose a snippet of the interview early. The teaser finds Staples discussing the craziness of people demanding music from artists, citing the recent fervor surrounding the release of Frank Ocean's new albums. "To me it’s a way to be polite. You're not deserving of that kind of treatment and it’s annoying, but they got what they want so they’re happy now," he says. Watch the clip above and read the statement below.

“I don’t know where we’re at the point to where we can demand things. 'Hey Frank Ocean, put out this album on Friday because you never said you were going to but we need it now or we don’t like you anymore.’ I didn't know when we started demanding rapid-fire from those kind of people. That’s when it gets weird. To me it’s a way to be polite. You're not deserving of that kind of treatment and it’s annoying, but they got what they want so they’re happy now.”
