Throughout the week, there was speculation that Beyoncé was attending "top secret rehearsals" leading up to the 2016 VMAs. Earlier tonight, MTV confirmed that Beyoncé would perform during the night's events.

After being introduced by Serena Williams, Beyoncé chose to recreate her hour-long visual album LEMONADE into a medley for the stage. The singer played "Pray You Catch Me," "Hold Up," "Sorry," "Don't Play Yourself," and "Formation." Like the film, the performance interweaves poetry and Beyoncé's songs. Watch below.
