Chris Cunningham, the artist who helped launch artists like Aphex Twin and Björk into the popular consciousness with his groundbreaking music videos, has launched a new website: ChrisCunninghamStudio.com. On August 17, Director-file-two.com noticed that chriscunningham.com now redirects to chriscunninghamstudio.com. As of writing, the website plays a frantic 10-second clip on loop, featuring the sort of different cyber-grotesqueries that Cunningham made his mark with nearly two decades ago. Check it out here.
Cunningham has not released a video since his remix of Gil-Scott-Heron's "New York Is Killing Me" in 2010. Since then, he has taken photographs for bands like Cat's Eyes and Warpaint, and designed a bottle of Dom Perignon with Björk. Watch Cunningham's video for Aphex Twin's "Come To Daddy" below.
