As emotionally draining as it may be to keep up with ever-mounting global despair, it can be even harder to separate ourselves from it and exist outside of these feelings. "Color of Reality" is a new short dance piece written, directed, and co-choreographed by Jon Boogz, who stars with fellow movement artist Lil Buck. They're both placed in a room gorgeously painted by Alexa Meade to resemble the work of Vincent Van Gogh, and their dances form a reaction to the news broadcast from their television set and, later, the despondent world outside. Producer Wondagurl and DBL provide the score, which is a skillfully maintained elegy that compels you to bob your head in both sorrow and appreciation. Watch above.
