Apple major changes to the forthcoming iPhone 7 on Wednesday during the company's keynote presentation, including a move towards bluetooth only models without headphone jacks. Many were angry that the AUX cord would soon be obsolete, but, within the other announcements, Apple has shared some news that should cheer up all iPhone owners. Though it wasn't announced on stage, Apple has changed their AppleCare+ protection plan so that screen repairs will only cost $29, 9to5mac reports.

Apple charges $129 for the AppleCare+ protection plan for all devices, except the iPhone SE which costs $99. The previous screen replacement rate was an additional $99, but, under the new plan, the total comes out to $158 for one screen repair. It seems like AppleCare+ might be worth the extra fee after all.
